Once upon a time, nestled in a quaint neighborhood, there lived a family – the Clynes. Their journey towards sustainable living began with a simple desire to provide the best for their children: Zoe, Georgia, and Sally. It all started when Zoe, their eldest, came into the world in a whirlwind of uncertainty, her life saved by a team of dedicated medical professionals. This experience ignited a flame within the Clynes – a passion for healthy living and a commitment to finding cleaner, more nourishing food options.
In 2011, after purchasing their first house, the Clynes decided to embark on a new adventure – starting a vegetable and herb garden in their backyard. With tender care and dedication, they nurtured their garden, learning as they went about soil health, planting techniques, and pest management. Each day brought new lessons and challenges, but the Clynes embraced the journey with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
As their family grew, so did their commitment to sustainable living. In 2015, they welcomed their second daughter, Georgia, into the world, solidifying their resolve to prioritize clean, healthy food for their children. Inspired by their experiences, the Clynes experimented with different dietary approaches, discovering the benefits of a paleo lifestyle along the way. They stumbled and made mistakes, but they persisted, eager to provide the best possible nutrition for their growing family.
Their journey took a bold turn in 2018 when, feeling the pull of wanderlust, the Clynes sold their house and traded it for life on the road in an RV. For two years, they traversed the country, exploring new landscapes, forging deep connections, and savoring the simple joys of life on the open road. But amidst their adventures, the Clynes continued to learn and adapt, discovering innovative ways to maintain their sustainable lifestyle while living on the move.
Drawing on the experiences God gave them and the lessons they had learned along the way, they founded a company that focuses on helping families build up their own homes and sustainable food sources. They knew they still had much to learn, but they were eager to share their journey and help others create a more sufficient lifestyle.
As God does many times, He called the Clynes into yet another adventure - building their own farmstead from the ground up. With the vision of a God blessed, more sufficient haven for their family, they are learning the ins and outs of sustainable building practices, permaculture design, and land management. Each step of the way, they are embracing the journey, knowing that every challenge they overcome brings them closer to their dream of a thriving, eco-friendly homestead.
